Five errors doom 'Tees in 10-4 loss to Daytona

Kjeldgaard homers twice in losing effort

The Brevard County Manatees committed five errors that led to five unearned runs for the Daytona Cubs as the 'Tees fell 10-4 on Sunday night at Space Coast Stadium.

Manatees (21-36) starting pitcher Maverick Lasker went just 2 2/3 innings and gave up five runs (three earned) on six hits, while walking two and striking out two.

Three Manatees selected for 2011 FSL All-Star Game

Khris Davis, Gennett and Bucci will represent Brevard County

The Florida State League announced on Thursday that outfielder Khris Davis, second baseman Scooter Gennett and starting pitcher Nick Bucci were selected from the Brevard County Manatees to represent the North Division in the 2011 Florida State League All-Star Game in Clearwater on June 18.
